Instructor: Ranya Anabtawi

Ranya Anabtawi is a yogic healing guide on the San Francisco Peninsula, and teaches in and around the Belmont community. A student for 16 years and teacher for eight, she integrates her grounded, calm, playful and often profound classes with her belief that students can benefit from a yoga practice not only for themselves, but for the benefit of others. Her background is extensive; having studied many modalities such as Asthanga, Hatha, Yin and Restorative yoga. She continues her own yoga journey with a curious mind and learns and grows in her own practice, with her teachers, and most of all, with her students. Yoga is always a journey and she is delighted to journey with all her students each time she teaches.

Instructor: Heather Ford

Introduced to classic Hatha Yoga as a teenager, I continued to practice throughout my adult life. In 1998 I traveled to India for 3 months where I studied Tibetan Buddhism and learned to meditate. Back home, I continued to practice at various Yoga studios until I landed at Integral Yoga Institute ( Here I experienced the essence of Yoga that I had been seeking: a contemplative, mindful practice of conditioning the body and the mind to restore peace. In 2008, on a path to deepening my practice, I became a teacher and have been teaching ever since. I love to support others on their path to wellness and bring Yoga to those who don't think they have access to it.
